Commons Condos

The Commons Condos are close to the Stratton Village.  Many of them, such as the Long Trail Houses and the Village Chalets are an easy walk to the Village and Slopes.  From some of them, there is a very short shuttle.  You may for example, take the shuttle to the slopes and then walk back at the end of the day.  In this catagory are Fox Chapel, Founders, Long Trail House, Hearthstone Lodge, Rising Bear and Village Chalets.

This is a draft and we will have more information up in the spring of 2008 on the "Commons Condos".

Long Trail House has one, two and three bedroom properties

Long Trail House

These units are located right across the street from the Stratton Village.  They are about six years old.  They are studio, one bedroom and two bedroom sizes.  The Long Trail House and the OberTal complex have the only one bedroom condos on the mountain.

They have a small kitchen and dining area.  There is a gas fireplace in the unit.  Washers and Driers are located in the basement.  There is also underground parking, an outside hot tub and pool, and a large common area.  Many of these units are offered for short term rental through the Stratton corporation or for seasonal rental by the owner.

Rising Bear

The Rising Bear condos are large two and three bedroom units that are just 2 years old.  They all have modern kitchens, beautiful tile baths and quality ammenities.  They have well appointed living rooms with gas fireplaces.

They are located across the street from the Village down behind the Chapel in the Snows on the left side of the Commons.  They have private underground parking and air conditioning.  It is an easy walk (for adults) from these units to the Stratton Village.  A shuttle is also available and a great way to get to the slope in the morning.

Woops.  We did not have a picture of the Rising Bear units, so put in a picture of the bear at the top of Stratton Mountain.

Village Chalets

The Village Chalets are large three level townhomes with three to four bedrooms.  These units can be as large as 2400 sq. ft. units with three plus baths, wood burning fireplaces and sundecks.  They were built in three phases between 1966 to 1988.

They are located across the street near the Chapel in the Snows and have private parking.  It is an easy walk (for adults) from these units to the Stratton Village.
