Overview

Piper Ridge townhomes are located in a private community.  It is one of the most beautiful locations at Stratton; a peaceful mountain setting on over 100 acres of rolling mountain woodlands.

All Piper Ridge condos have beautiful multi-level appointments and wood burning fireplaces.  Each Piper Ridge townhouse is unique and has an individual layout.  They are typically three or four bedrooms.   Some have indoor saunas.

Two townhomes are built in a cluster.  What you see in the pictures above and to the right are two townhomes.  Sometimes there is a garage attached to the unit.  Sometimes it is a separate garage.

On weekends and holidays, Piper Ridge has a private shuttle that stops in front of the condos and goes directly to Stratton Mountain.  The shuttle is on a fixed schedule and an excellent way to get to and from the slope.

Often, because of the large size (typically over 2,000 sq. ft.), a Piper Ridge is rented by two families or one large family.  It is a great place for a family reunion or a weekend getaway.

Because of ther large size, spacious interiors, large bedrooms and private woodland setting with some best views of Stratton Mountain, it is one of our favorite complexes.

All Piper Ridge townhomes are built on multiple levels.  In some units, the main level is down a few steps from the entrance.  In others it is up a few steps.  Since they are built on a steep hill facing Stratton, they are all configured differently.  But what they have in common is beautiful stone faced wood burning fireplaces and extensive wood work throughout.

The townhomes are generally clustered with two units together.  They are large often consisting of three or more bedrooms.  Originally when they were built in the early 1980's, many units had an indoor spa room with a hot tub and sauna.  Some units have a single attached garage, some a separate garage. Over the years, the spa rooms and garages have been converted into additional living space.

Each Piper Ridge unit is unique.  Some Piper Ridge units have spectacular views of the mountain.  The Piper Ridge complex has its own extensive sports center with a pool and jacuzzi.  There is a private shuttle that stops in each building cluster and drops you off directly at the base lodge.  This is one of the most desireable townhouse locations to rent if you desire a large luxury unit in a beautiful mountain setting.  Some renters come back year after year.  Piper Ridge is often requested by people who know Stratton.
