For the past six seasons, strattoncondos.com has been a winter ski condo rental and vacation lodging site, concentrating on all condo developments at the Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont.  It was originally designed for skiers and snowboarders.  Our new 2008 / 2009 site, is expanding to become a site for anyone who takes a winter vacation in VT. 

We love to ski, our children love to snowboard and ski, and our grandson started this season.  After staying at every single mountain in Vermont (and most of the ski areas in New England), we settled at Stratton 20 years ago.  We love Stratton, the Manchester area and all Southern Vermont has to offer.  Our goal is to help you have fun and a memorable winter vacation in Southern Vermont.   To find out more about us, our hours of operation or just read some jokes about Stratton, please follow our new links.

Slopeside or Shuttle?

"Slopeside" or "mountainside" condos are at a premium.  There are relatively few ski-in condos at Stratton.  Their rental rates are high, because the cost of ownership is high.  However, for ultimate convenience, a slopeside condo may be the best.

The Stratton shuttle is an excellent way to get to the slope.   It picks you up from the parking lot right in front of your unit and drops you off at the base lodge.  Also, a unit on the shuttle route is $100 to $300 per night less for a similar unit.  A majority of the renters and owners prefer condos on the Stratton shuttle route.
