Mountain Watch
The Mountain Watch complex consists of two building, each with about 24 condos. They were built in the late 1980's with Mountain Watch 2 built first, and then Mountain Watch 1 was the final building in the Mountain Watch / Village Watch complex. The Mountain Watch and Village Watch condominiums, and Mountain Reach townhomes have perhaps the best ski-in locations at Stratton Mountain, Vermont. They are slopeside and at the corner of the Stratton Village.
The majority of the Mountain Watch condos are large two bedroom, two bath units of about 1200 to 1300 sq. ft. They have two master bedrooms, each with a full bath. There is a jacuzzi tub in the first master bedroom, where there is generally a king or queen size bed. The second master is also called the "Lock Out" bedroom, because it often has a separate entrance to the hallway, and is quite private from the main living area. These two bedroom units are often the most requested because of the location. There is no unit for rent in building 1 and only a few in building 2. They rent from $750 to $950 per night holiday. Mountain Watch is our most requested complex at Stratton Mountain, especially when the families include children under 12.

Mountain Watch Penthouse Units
There are eight Penthouse units in each of the two Mountain Watch buildings. The penthouse units consist of two master bedrooms and two baths downstairs, similar to the two bedroom units. They have a loft with a third full bath. Sometimes the loft is split into a 3rd bedroom and a loft area. In other cases, it is left as a 25 foot long loft, partially open to the main living area. The Penthouse units range from 1650 to 2000 sq. ft.
Mountain Watch Penthouse units typically rent for $1,500 to $1,800 per night on holidays, when they are available. Few are available for short term rental. They are great for a large family or two small families. They are often requested by families with children under 12, because they are on the Mountain side of the access road and in front of the beginner lift.
Mountain Watch and Village Watch
The Mountain Watch and Village Watch units are almost identical. Village Watch 4 was built first, then Village Watch 3. They were incorporated into a condominium association. Then Mountain Watch 2 was built and finally Mountain Watch 1 were built and incorporated into a separate condominium association. While just a couple of years older, some of the Village Watch units have been redone are are spectacular million dollar condominiums. Please click here for Village Watch information.
